UK and European Airshows
The Hangar 11 Collection are regular participants on the UK and European Airshow scene led by Peter Teichman as chief pilot and a selected few of the finest and most experienced display pilots in the UK.
Hangar 11 Collection are one of the most active Warbird operators in Europe having displayed our aircraft in 10 European countries over the last three years alone and averaging over 80 public displays per season.
Events, TV and Film productions & Private Hire
The collection's rare and historic aircraft are available to display at Air shows and private events throughout the UK and Europe and we have travelled far and wide to shows as distant as southern Germany, northern Holland and The Czech Republic to name but a few.
We have opened many a classic concert with a stunning warbird display. Also, we specialize in providing displays for Weddings, birthday flybys and also those other special one off occasions where the sound of a Merlin and the sight of a rare wartime icon will add such value to the day and bring tears to the eyes of many.
We supply aircraft for TV and film productions such as the soon to release film " Red Tails" produced by George Lucas of "Star Wars" fame which premiers in Spring 2012 and was filmed in Prague and involved Peter Teichman in our P40 Kittyhawk. Recently Peter flew some great sorties in PL 965 our rare Spitfire MK XI for a BBC documentary called "Operation Crossbow" which screened in Summer 2011.
Our Spitfire PL 965 and Hurri Bomber BE505 have single seats our P40 Kittyhawk and P51 Mustang "Jumpin Jacques" both have a passenger seat fitted, where under certain circumstances we carry enthusiasts and volunteers.
The ethos of the company is "to fly" these beautiful planes and make them available to the public to see and hear, so running costs can be subsidized. As such hire costs may be surprisingly affordable for such rare Warbirds.
